Our web performance monitoring service comes with a powerful and easy-to-use alert system.
Thanks to our feature you will then be able to detect the slightest slowdown of your web pages as each regression of web quality that may occur, bringing to you significant gains in productivity thanks to our analysis of the underlying problems, our before/after comparison reports and finally our false positives filtering system.
Your own alert thresholds also appear on your monitoring graphs so you can easily position yourself regarding your goals.
To benefit from our alert system, you just have to set your own goals/thresholds concerning the metric you want.
You can access to our alert configuring system from each of your monitoring pages.
- If you have not set any alert for this monitoring yet, click the red "+ Configure an Alert" button in the top right corner of the page
- If you have already configured at least one alert, the alert configuration screen can be accessed via the "Actions" dropdown menu at the top of the page.
The dedicated form to add a new alert allows you to set alert thresholds on 10 different metrics: score, number of requests, page weight, http errors on resources, first byte (TTFB), DomInteractive, Start Render, Visually Complete, Fully Load and Speed Index.
The "http errors on resources" indicator gives the number of resources for which an HTTP error (404, 500, etc.) occurred while the web page have been tested. Do not confound with an error that would be returned by the tested page itself. In such a case, we systematically send an alert.
For each indicator you can choose between 2 options: to be warned if the measured value is lower or higher than your objective. Do not hesitate to benefit from this feature to keep an eye on your competitors and be notified immediately in case of any of their web site improvements!
All you have to do then is to specify the recipient's email addresses, which you can define for each indicator.
At any time, you can delete, edit or add new alerts through your Dareboost dashboard. Do not forget to update your goals after any significant update applied to your monitored pages.
