Our web performance monitoring service comes with a powerful and easy-to-use alert system, designed to enable the implementation of performance budgets.
Thanks to our feature you will be able to detect the slightest slowdown of your web pages as each regression of web quality that may occur, while gaining in productivity thanks to our analysis of the underlying problems, our before/after comparison reports and, finally, our double-check system that eliminates false positives.
Your own alert thresholds also appear on your monitoring graphs so you can easily position yourself regarding your goals.
To benefit from our alert system, you just have to set your own goals/thresholds concerning the metric you want.
You can access the configuration of our alert system from any of your monitored pages.
- If you have not set any alert for this monitoring yet, click the "Configure an Alert" button under the chart representing the execution statuses.
- Access to alert management is also available from the "Actions" drop-down menu, located at the top right of the page.
4 different types of metrics are available for your alerting policy:
- Standard Timings (Speed Index, Start Render, etc)
- Avanced Timings (TTI, FCP, etc)
- Dareboost Score
The "HTTP errors on resources" indicator gives the number of resources for which an HTTP error (404, 500, etc.) occurred while the web page has been tested. Do not misinterpret this as an error that would be returned by the tested page itself. In such a case, we systematically send an alert.
For each indicator you can choose between 2 options: to be warned if the measured value is lower or higher than your objective. Feel free to take advantage of this feature to keep an eye on your competitors and be notified immediately if their website improves!
All you have to do then is to specify the recipient's email addresses, which you can define for each indicator.
At any time, you can delete, edit or add new alerts through your Dareboost dashboard. Do not forget to update your goals after any significant update applied to your monitored pages.
