Dareboost allows you to select the screen resolution to use for your test among a list of common values.
That parameter will impact your Dareboost test results in different ways:
- Among the performance metrics that are measured during our tests, Dareboost includes a range of indicators related to User Experience (UX), as Speed Index, based on a video analysis of the rendering of the web page's visible part (above the foldline, without scrolling the page). Obviously, changing the screen resolution parameters will significantly modify the visible part of the tested web page and, as a consequence, these metrics values.
- If your website is responsive, its behaviour is likely to change radically regarding the screen resolution. Moreover, images lazy loading behaviors (images loading only triggered when they become visible on the screen while scrolling) will be also impacted as the foldline will move.
